THE STORY
In February, SAMSUNG Philippines launched the new Galaxy A71 smartphone with a city-stopping concert headlined by the country’s biggest names.
The #AwesomeConcert brought together SAMSUNG Philippines President James Jung and brand ambassadors Liza Soberano, Jane de Leon, Ella Cruz, and Julian Trono on one stage.
Along with the talents of Korea-trained Filipino boyband SB19, they entertained the audience with renditions of the Awesome Dance made popular by SAMSUNG global ambassadors BLACKPINK and demos of the A71’s new features, but it was Indie-folk pop outfit Ben&Ben that stole the show, debuting their single “Sa Susunod na Habang Buhay” and playing an energetic and emotional set.
SAMSUNG’s first ever outdoor smartphone launch was a huge success and trended on social media the rest of the week.
8,000 STRONG
ODV worked on the overall event production and talent management of the concert which attracted an 8,000-strong crowd.
And the awesome screen, awesome camera, and long-lasting bettery of the Galaxy A71 perfectly captured it all.
